Alyssa’s 3 Year Portraits | The Farr Family

How is it even possible that my little princess turned three?  Although I wish that we had a big party on Tuesday, we did not. We can’t! COVID-19 has struck, and it hit hard. We have quarantined at our home for several weeks and have no idea when it will end. I am thankful for my time at home with the kids and that this doesn’t influence them.

Alyssa will not remember that on her birthday we couldn’t have about  40 people at her party. But she may remember that momma and daddy stayed awake until 3 am making a Peppa Pig cake, that I painted her nails, and that we FaceTime family. I hope our families can soon get together and celebrate, but we will celebrate with just us for now.

Alyssa came out of her shell for the last few months. Here are just a few things that I want to remember from her second year of life.

  • You have become more vocal in the last few months. And we are not mad about it at all. Your sweet little voice trying to say things has my heart in puddles sometimes. Like when you say Sponge Bob Square Pants.
  • You are so sweet and precious to your momma and are attached to me like glue, and honestly, I love it so much. Plus, you only want momma to do things for you.
  • Playing with your brother and following in his footsteps is what you love.
  • Love being outside and playing in the playhouse.
  • Know your colors, can match letters, and even can count.
  • Love your GiGi, something fierce. You kiss her goodbye and tell her I love you every night.
  • Likes to ride the 4-wheeler with daddy.
  • Your nickname for your brother is Boo Boo. (Disclaimer: I am not sure how she came up with that.)
  • Shy but strong-willed with a bunch of sass. And I love every ounce of it.
  • Love babies and are so tender with them.
  • You now like momma and daddy to take your portraits.
