Elegant Maternity | Phil & Bethany

I have been dying to share this blog post since the moment we started planning this maternity session. With this being my first maternity session, I found it so fulfilling because it’s a time of growth. Not only for the baby but also for the new parents and everyone around them. A woman welcoming new life into this world is just so incredible and beautiful. Being able to photograph Bethany’s maternity session was such a gift. We witnessed firsthand the nurturing love that two parents have cultivated and developed for their new baby. It’s such a small moment in time that we are recording and will never come again. Being able to freeze these small slivers of time that we hold in our hands but relive in our hearts is why photographing motherhood is part of my photography passion.

Working with Bethany and Phil was amazing and so easy. The pure joy, love, and excitement they have toward each other and their beautiful baby girl was so special to witness. Seeing the love and anticipation on their faces and getting to capture this moment for them before they embark on the greatest adventure of their lives was such a special gift. When Bethany arrived at her shoot I just melted when I saw her dress and got to spend time with their sweet little man Owen. He is going to be such a great big brother!!!

Bethany and Phil thank you so, so much for entrusting us with this special season of your life. We are beyond grateful for this opportunity!!! Bethany your beauty, grace, and energy were truly captivating. The first time you hold that sweet baby girl your heart will exponentially grow and forever change your world.
