one: start a friendship!
We believe that building a friendship adds value to your legacy. We’ll get to know one another over dinner or schedule a video call if you can’t meet in person. After we get to know each other, we will determine if we are a match made in heaven and send all the necessary information to start building your customized legacy.
two: save the date
Let's make this dream a reality and secure your date. We will send you an online booking proposal to review your packages and pay your retainer fee to make it official. Once you’re an official S+B bride and groom, we’ll get started!
three: engagements
The fun begins! After working together to choose the perfect locations, we will start capturing the joy of this new season of your life together! Your engagement session is vital in helping you feel comfortable working with us while allowing you to feel like yourselves with no stress. Your only job is to love each other, and don’t worry, we’ll teach you the rest!
four: timeline chat
A few weeks out from your wedding day, we will prepare a timeline for a wedding day, in which you can celebrate and take photos you’ll adore for a lifetime! We are available to help with anything you may need — vendor recommendations, timeline preparation, planning suggestions and more. We love creating timelines to ensure you don’t miss out on your dream photos. Brian’s the expert at this.
five: wedding day!
It’s your big day! We believe in capturing the full story of your wedding day, so we never shoot for less than 10 hours. We’ll arrive early to take flatlay and detail photos, before gathering the bridal and groom parties for portraits. Shannon’s a wedding dress and boutonniere expert, so just ask if you need help buttoning things up! We pay close attention to details, fluffing dresses and fixing hair. Our priority is to capture all the traditional shots, as well as the in-between moments.
six: fall in love all over again1
After your wedding day is over, you can expect your full gallery within 5-8 weeks of your wedding day, but you’ll see sneak peeks within a week! With your online gallery, you can easily download, share and print your wedding day memories. When you see your photos for the first time, we encourage you to sit down with a glass of wine and relive the start of your legacy together all over again. Soon after your gallery is delivered, we will work to create your beautifully designed album if you choose to order this beautiful heirloom piece!

two: plan your session
Together, we’ll customize your session — planning out the time, location and other details.
three: make memories
During your family photos, we’ll invite you to relax and laugh with your children or share loving moments with your partner. We just want you to show up and enjoy yourself. We’ll take care of the rest as we capture the emotion, personalities and connections among your family members.
four: the reveal
We’ll meet again for the reveal at our studio. We love seeing the heartfelt reactions when you see your family photos for the first time. We’ll sort through your favorite images and help you customize your prints and albums, if chosen.
five: delivery!
We love preserving your story for years to come. When you order prints, they’ll be delivered within 2 to 3 weeks after they pass our inspection!
Maternity & Newborn Photos
Life’s miracles captured forever!
one: start a conversation
We encourage our clients to begin the planning at around 20 weeks. This allows us to book the date, plan the color scheme, style and more! We have a large collection of beautiful props and accessories to use as well.
two: maternity experience
If planning maternity photos, we will schedule this along with your newborn session. We recommend maternity sessions to be around 28 to 34 weeks of your pregnancy to capture that beautiful glowing shape. We have various gowns available in our studio to choose from. Professional hair and makeup services are available for an additional fee. It’s often a nice treat for the mom-to-be!
three:newborn photos
Because your baby can arrive with little notice, we’ll plan on a tentative time frame. Once your baby makes his or her appearance, we ask you to schedule your photos while the baby is between 7 and 14 days old. This is when the baby will be the most sleepy, which is perfect for those darling newborn photos.
four: studio reveal
All of our sessions include an in-studio reveal session to view images in detail and select fine art prints, gorgeous gallery wraps, elegant heirloom albums and digital files that will fit perfectly in your home.
five: delivery of artwork
Look forward to receiving your heirlooms and images within 2 to 3 weeks!
