Iris Hills Ludington Wedding | Jeff + Jordan

From the second I met Jeff and Jordan, I knew their wedding would be nothing short of top-notch. These two showcased style and class, and they sure knew how to party! Jeff and Jordan’s day was beautiful from start to finish. These two had an epic celebration at Iris Hills, a beautiful space nestled along the shore of Lake Michigan in Ludington, with an exquisite equestrian estate, an amazing overlook with sprawling hills for the ceremony site, a lovely lodge with a kidney-shaped pool and cocktail area, a gorgeous 3 story log barn that opened into a large tented reception space, and the perfect backdrop for sunset photos!

However, it was the most amazing, warm summer day, not a cloud in the sky and just the perfect light breeze. Further, we arrived in the bridal suite to a bag full of fun details to photograph, which is always the perfect way to kick my creativity into gear. Besides, we had never worked at Iris Hills before, so we couldn’t wait to get started. On the other hand, the property was absolutely stunning, from the breathtaking views to the awesome team. It was a dream come true!

They planned the entire wedding around wanting their guests to enjoy their time at the wedding, and they did it so well. Most importantly, their day was beaming with love, both for one another and from all their incredible family and friends. It’s clear why so many love Jeff and Jordan! They both are so joyful, gracious and shine such a bright light everywhere they go. But we truly felt privileged to be a part of their special day!

Above all, Jeff and Jordan, thank you for inviting us in with such warmth and hospitality to help your families celebrate such an important day. It was such an honor and privilege to be a part of it all. From your engagement portraits to the guests and details to the weather and the vendor team, it was an absolute dream! The only thing better than having been there on the day is that we continue to see you both as friends afterward. And I hope these bring you joy for years to come!
