I love photographing newborns; it not only keeps my baby fever at bay. But it’s such a special time and a little phase in life that goes by so quickly. I just love documenting it.
It’s always so special to capture multiple milestones for families and this family is one of those that I’ve seen grow into parents. I first met Melissa & Erik during their wedding rehearsal. Now I am lucky enough to capture their new addition. I had such a great time with this couple it was so great to have them back in front of my camera with their sweet little baby girl for her newborn portraits!
Sometimes the simplest setups are the best the ones. When Melissa contacted me about photographing her little bundle of joy I wanted to add a little bit of fall into Margaret’s newborn session. I had this purple wrap and had just the perfect touch to add. My 3-year old son has been growing sunflowers in our backyard. They were just what I needed to complete the vision I had for her session.
Sweet baby Margaret came into my studio in St. Louis for her first photo shoot when she was 17 days new. They say the best things come in small packages. She weighed 6lbs 14oz had lots of dark hair and I loved capturing all her little features. This tiny baby girl was pure perfection! She wanted to be awake for most of her session, but she slept long enough for us to get lots of adorable images!
We can’t wait to learn more about you!
