When Garret and Kaye first inquired about wedding photography they requested to have a fall and winter engagement session. I was so excited for fall and winter to come. I mean what photographer doesn’t love photographing in the fall? Plus, a winter session has always been on my bucket list. The visions in my head started to stir. I knew just the perfect place for these two sessions especially the winter session.
Garret & Kaye have this sweetness about them. They have a friendly laid-back personality and are just fun to be around. They love all things hunting and snow and just love spending time together. You can just tell when they are together they adore each other.
Their fall engagement session was a beautiful fall evening and the sunshine was the perfect added warmth that we needed. We started at Dow Gardens in Midland. It is such a beautiful place with endless possibilities that never gets old. It has gorgeous trees, walking paths, and bridges among other things. It just can’t get better than that when it’s all in one place.
We then stopped by the famous Tridge in Midland. It’s an iconic wooden foot bridge that spans the conjoining of the Tittabawassee and Chippewa rivers. Our last-minute decision to go to the Tridge while the sun was setting was the perfect ending to the day.
Garret and Kaye, it was great spending the evening exploring Midland with the both of you and creating beautiful images together. We can’t wait for your fun filled wedding day! Make sure to stay tuned for their winter session but for now here are a few of our favorites!
We can’t wait to learn more about you!
