We love doing engagement sessions, because it allows us to really get to know our couples before their wedding! This is something that is important to us. Connecting with each of our couples so we build a friendship. It’s a friendship that lasts through the years and it is so rewarding and life fulfilling. Brett and Meaghan’s spring engagement session was definitely one of the most uncommon engagement sessions we’ve ever done. When we talked about where to do their spring engagement session, Meaghan and Brett knew they wanted to do it on his family’s farm. It’s rare that we get to do engagement sessions at a client’s home and which makes it even more special!
Brett’s grandparent’s farm location in Merrill provided the most perfect laid back, rustic vibe, and totally reflected their sweet personalities. It was a very quaint and beautiful spot to do their engagement session. The weather had not quite decided whether spring was here, but we had the most amazing day. We walked around the property, chatted about their amazing fall wedding and took some incredible shots! And those gorgeous flowering trees were pure perfection! I can’t even tell you how much I love flowering trees in the spring! We think it’s so special to photograph a sentimental piece of a couple’s love story. There’s just an extra dynamic of sentiment and familiarity drawn out.
One of our other beautiful brides referred Meaghan to us and we are so lucky to capture this season of their life. The joy that these two have combined makes this spring engagement session so special. We can’t wait to capture your big day this fall, Meaghan & Brett. Thank you so much for letting us capture your engagement portraits. For now, enjoy a few of our favorites from their session!
We can’t wait to learn more about you!
