Vintage Fall Wedding | John & Kassi

In spite of, the 2018 wedding season ending this particular beautiful vintage wedding was the perfect way to end the season. Even if it was something we had been waiting for since we first met them. All things considered, we can’t say enough good things about this dynamic duo. John and Kassi, not only are the most genuine and kind people you know but they also have hearts of gold. However, nothing could have prepared us for the emotion-filled, love-centered wedding day these two had.

Likewise their wedding day was a celebration of their incredible, unwavering love. It was a perfect day from the beginning to the end despite the weather that forced us indoors. Without delay we started with Kassi and her closet friends getting ready at a beautiful old farmhouse. We also fell in love with Kassi’s remarkable group of girls and the beautiful character of the house. Later, John and Kassi did a quick first look in downtown Grand Rapids on the picturesque river walk.  Above all Kassi in her stunningly beautiful dress and John’s classy swagger made his heart beat right out of his chest. All in all it was just beautiful raw emotion between the two of them.

Afterwards we headed to The Cobblestone Plaza where the ceremony and reception took place. A surprisingly beautiful quaint space in Caledonia where their closest friends and family gathered plus witnessed them promise forever to each other. Once their reception began, the celebration didn’t slow down for a moment. Our favorite highlight from the day was John’s reaction to seeing his bride walk down the aisle, even though they did a first look before. In addition, some other favorites include John’s handshake with his father-in-law and Kassi’s father forgetting to hug her. But, most importantly was John’s hidden Michael Jackson dancing talent. When it came to their massive dance party these two and their crew knew how to have fun. They specifically kept that dance floor hoppin’ all night!

Finally, we had a blast capturing your beautiful love story and it was a blessing to capture those memories for you. What makes it even more amazing was the love you two share and how it radiates outward. We especially adore both of you and witnessing the love, you two share is such an honor.
