Jubilant Engagement | Donald + Carolyn

Sometimes I have to pinch myself and make sure I’m not dreaming. That I get to do this, to tell stories through images, for people madly in love. It will never cease to amaze me, and Donald & Carolyn’s engagement session in Frankenmuth did nothing but remind me of how lucky I am to be photographing such beautiful, caring, and kindhearted couples.

Carolyn and & I have been chatting since last fall but didn’t get a chance to meet face-to-face until their engagement session. It’s always fun, meeting our couples in person for the first time. A couple weeks ago we finally had the opportunity to work with the two of them and our hearts were just bursting with joy during their entire session. They are the sweetest couple and we giggled the entire time, whether or not I posed them! You can just see how much these two love each other in the photos we took, and we couldn’t be more in love with them!

We started their session in downtown Frankenmuth and it was amazing! We had such a beautiful sunny afternoon for their engagement session with the prettiest light. From the minute they hopped out of the truck they just radiated joy. We walked down by the river and chatted about their fall wedding this September.  Their playful love was so fun to photograph! They are just so sweet and have such a joyful love that is contagious! We just adore working with them!

Donald & Carolyn, it was our absolute joy to finally meet you both in person and such a privilege to see you joyfully in love! Each photo makes us smile so much! Our time together in Frankenmuth was the perfect afternoon, and we can’t for your wedding this September. Until then enjoy some of our favorites.
