Dow Gardens Engagement | Paul + Emily

Sometimes you meet with clients, and you click…this happened with Paul and Emily. While we first met them at Five Guy’s in Lansing to talk about their Dow Gardens engagement. Furthermore, we remind ourselves how blessed we are to build relationships for a living and capture our clients’ timeless milestones. What a fantastic gift!

On the other hand, we ended up talking for quite some time, and we just loved them. But, I knew that their engagement session would be incredible from the start because Emily had emailed us looking for a location. She especially wanted anything that was bridges, flowers, and willow trees. Not to mention the suspense she built for their remarkable wardrobe. Working with the two of them is an absolute dream come true, and they make our jobs way too easy!

Then we met up at the beautiful Dow Gardens in Midland, and it took two seconds into their engagement session for us to be obsessed with photographing these two! I mean, look at how Emily melts into his embrace. I dare you not to fall in love. Above all, the magic of these two and this stunning botanical garden left us wishing this never had to end. But most importantly, the two of them together are perfection, that effortless comfort that comes with being next to your favorite person in the world.

Finally, thank you so much, Paul and Emily, for making our job the easiest it’s ever been! The two of you in front of our camera was such a gift. However, if their engagement was this amazing, I don’t think it prepares the world for how beautiful their wedding will be. But it was a joy to have you two in front of our cameras, and we are excited to have the opportunity again in May!
